New Delhi, Dec 8 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices rose byRs 12.50 to Rs 1,637 per quintal in futures trading todayas participants accumulated positions amid a firm trend atthe physical markets.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchangecounter, cottonseed oil cake for most-traded delivery inJanuary contracts hardened by Rs 12.50 or 0.77 per cent to Rs1,637 per quintal, with an open interest of 80,070 lots.
Cottonseed oilcake to be delivered this month alsogained Rs 8.50 or 0.53 per cent to Rs 1,615 per quintal,having an open interest of 13,910 lots.
Marketmen said widening of positions by speculator backedby a firm trend at the physical markets mainly supported theupside in cottonseed oil cake futures prices . PTI SDG SUNANU.
