Prez awards President's Colours to submarine arm of Navy
Visakhapatnam, Dec 8 (PTI) President Ram Nath Kovindtoday awarded Presidential Colours to the submarine arm ofthe Indian Navy that is celebrating its golden jubilee.
The event, held at the headquarters of the Eastern NavalCommand (ENC) here, was attended by Navy Chief Admiral SunilLanba, Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief MinisterN Chandrababu Naidu, Flag Office Commanding-in-Chief of ENCVice-Admiral Karambir Singh and other senior officers of theforce.
The president, who was on his maiden visit to a navalformation, was given a 21-gun salute upon his arrival at theENC headquarters for the ceremony.
