New Delhi, Dec 8 (PTI) Soybean prices fell Rs 21 to Rs3,061 per quintal in futures trading today as speculators cutdown positions amid muted overseas cues.
Marketmen said trimming of holdings by participants,largely in line with falling prices overseas, weighed onsoybean futures here.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange,soybean to be delivered in December month slackened by Rs 21or 0.68 percent to Rs 3,061 per quintal, with an open interestof 40,120 lots.
The most-traded delivery in January month contracts alsoslipped by Rs 20 or 0.64 per cent to Rs 3,119 per quintal,having an open interest of 2,37,170 lots. PTI SDG SUNABM.
