Angul (Odisha), Dec 11 (PTI) A youth was trampled todeath by an elephant when he was trying to take a selfie withthe animal in Khamar forest range area in Angul districttoday, officials said.
The tusker was roaming in the forest area nearNimidibeda village after straying from its herd.
The youth, identified as J Nayak, of the village inPallahara sub-division tried to click a selfie with theelephant that trampled him, officials said.
Nayak was taken to a nearby hospital by local peoplewhere he died.
