Los Angeles, Nov 3 (PTI) Actress Paz de la Huerta hasalleged that disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein raped hertwice in 2010.
The "Boardwalk Empire" made the revelations in aninterview with Vanity Fair.
The first instance, de la Huerta said, was in November ofthat year. Weinstein allegedly offered her a ride home to herapartment, where he demanded to come inside and have a drink.
She said Weinstein then started to kiss her, and aftershe tried to brush him away, he pushed her onto the bed.
"I felt afraid... It wasn't consensual... It happenedvery quickly..." De la Huerta said.
The actor said the second assault happened a month later,in December.
When asked about de la Huerta's allegations, Brendan Ryanof the New York Police Department told Variety in a statement,"We are aware of the sexual assault complaints. We areactively investigating them. The NYPD continues to work withthe Manhattan District Attorney's office on the case. Theinvestigation is on-going."De la Huerta joins dozens of women who have come outagainst Weinstein alleging sexual harassment or assault. PTISHDSHD.
