New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) Cardamom prices fell by 2.92 percent to Rs 830 per kg in futures trade today as speculatorsbooked profits at prevailing levels amid easing demand at thespot market against adequate stocks position.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery inNovember declined by Rs 25, or 2.92 per cent to Rs 830 per kgin business turnover of 1 lot.
Similarly, the spice for delivery in December tradedlower by Rs 8.20, or 0.84 per cent to Rs 964 per kg in 6 lots.
Analysts said besides profit booking by participants atexisting levels, fall in demand in the physical market againstadequate stocks position on higher supplies from producingregions, mainly weighed on cardamom prices at futures trade.
