New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) Soybean prices edged higher by Rs9 to Rs 2,828 per quintal in futures trading today asspeculators enlarged positions in sync with a firm trendoverseas.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange,soybean for delivery this month gained Rs 9, or 0.32 per cent,to Rs 2,828 per quintal, having an open interest of 10,250lots.
In a similar way, the delivery for the most-tradedDecember edged up by Rs 7, or 0.24 per cent higher, to Rs2,872 per quintal, with a business turnover of 1,90,480 openlots.
Marketmen said building up of positions by participants,driven by a firm trend in global markets, influenced soybeanprices in futures trade here. PTI SDG SUNSBT.
