Los Angeles, Nov 15 (PTI) Actor Rose McGowan has surrendered before a court in Virginia after a warrant was issued against her for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

The "Grindhouse" actor was arrested and later released on a bond of USD 5,000, reported Variety.

The charges against the actor stems from a police investigation into her personal belongings which she left behind on a flight early this year.

The police has claimed that the items allegedly tested positive for narcotics.

McGowan was one of the first actors to come out and accuse Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault last month. PTI RB RB .
