Barmer, Nov 28 (PTI) An under-construction overhead watertank collapsed on the premises of a textile factory inBalotara town today, killing three labourers and injuring asmany others, police said.
About 12 labourers were engaged in the construction ofthe water tank at the factory in the RIICO industrial area,police said.
The structure collapsed and six labourers got buriedunder the debris. They were pulled out and rushed to ahospital, where three of them were declared brought dead.
The three others were out of danger, SHO Balotara policestation Bhanwarlal Sirvi said.
The deceased were identified as Bhakraram Meghwal,Shankarlal Sansi and Dhanraj Sansi, all aged between 25 and30.
No FIR has been registered in the matter yet. Appropriateaction will be taken if family members of the deceasedapproached police, Sirvi said. PTI Corr AGGVS.
