New Delhi, Oct 13 (PTI) The Aam Aadmi Party will gheraothe residences of all seven Delhi BJP MPs in protest againstthe metro fare hike, the party said today.
To start with, the party will gherao the residence ofUnion minister and Chandni Chowk MP Harsh Vardhan on October14 and East Delhi MP Maheish Girri's the next day.
They will protest outside the residences of NorthwestDelhi MP Udit Raj, South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri, West DelhiMP Parvesh Varma, New Delhi MP Meenakshi Lekhi and NortheastMP Manoj Tiwari between October 16 and 21.
Party volunteers, led by Delhi unit convenor and LabourMinister Gopal Rai today tried to gherao the Nirman Bhawan,which houses the Union Urban Development Ministry, against thefare hike.
The party had earlier alleged that the fare hike was doneby the BJP-led Centre to benefit the app-based cab operatorsOla and Uber. PTI PRTIR.
