Baghpat (UP), Oct 13 (PTI) A court here has awarded lifeimprisonment to eight people for killing four members of afamily in 2004, an official said today.
Additional Sessions Judge Ramesh Chandra Diwakarpronounced the verdict yesterday, convicting the eight forkilling Rampal, Satvir, Harendra and his wife Monika inAugust, 2004, in Kirthal village, he said.
The court awarded the sentence to Sudhir Kumar, PadamSingh, Karan Singh, Ramphal, Ompal, Subodh, Rampal and Bhopalbesides imposing a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of them,Additional Government Counsel Surendra Yadav said. PTI CORRSAB SNEABH.
