New Delhi, Oct 13 (PTI) Mentha oil prices fell further by0.38 per cent to Rs 1,244 per kg in futures trading today asparticipants engaged in trimming their positions, tracking aweak trend at spot market on easing demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for deliveryin October declined by Rs 4.70, or 0.38 per cent to Rs 1,244per kg in business turnover of 205 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in November traded lowerby Rs 3.60, or 0.28 per cent to Rs 1,260 per kg in 34 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by traders due tofall in demand from consuming industries in the physicalmarket against adequate stocks position, mainly kept menthaoil prices down at futures trade. PTI KPS SUN ADIMKJ.
