Puducherry, Oct 13 (PTI) Lt Governor Kiran Bedi todaysaid that her office Raj Nivas was a vital bridge between theUnion Territory of Puducherry and the Centre.
In a whatsapp message to the media persons here fromDelhi, she said the "Raj Nivas will never misrepresent and hasto protect larger interests of the people and ensureprotection of the marginalised".
Bedi who is participating in the two-day conference ofGovernors and Lt Governors in New Delhi, which startedyesterday.
Asserting that "the office of Lt Governor is the lastoffice for people in Puducherry and will always respond to andrebut misinformation".
The former IPS officer who had been at loggerheads withthe government on several occasions on various issues, saidthat Raj Nivas "has been converted into People`s Nivas throughopen house programme".
She contended that the office of Lt Governor shouldremain the most trusted office and should be one which peoplebelieve that it stands for justice and relief.
Raj Nivas is a vital bridge between the Union Territoryand the Centre as said by the President in the Governors`conference. PTI CorRC.
