Hyderabad, Oct 13 (PTI) The Telangana government isgearing up to host the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES)here on November 28-29, an official said today, adding that itis spending Rs eight crore to ensure its smooth conduct.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Donald Trump's daughterIvanka, who is also the advisor to the US President, arescheduled to address the summit, besides top innovation,entrepreneurship, and business leaders.
"She (Ivanka Trump), along with some of her staff, willbe staying in the Westin Hotel, located in the Raheja IT Parkat Madhapur," Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industriesand IT, Telangana government, told reporters.
He added that the state government was spending Rs eightcrore for the smooth conduct of the summit.
The GES is an annual entrepreneurship gathering whichconvenes emerging entrepreneurs and investors from around theworld.
This year's summit will highlight the theme -- 'WomenFirst, Prosperity for All' -- and focus on supporting womenentrepreneurs and fostering economic growth globally, astatement of the US government had earlier said. PTI GDK RMTRC.
