Thane, Oct 17 (PTI) The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB)today caught Thane tehsildar and a private person forallegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10 lakh for granting NApermission for land, an official said today.
The tehsildar, Kisan Bhadane (41), was trapped alongwith a private person, identified as Ram Ugale (31), thisevening, ACB's Thane range DSP ACB Sangramsinh Nishandar said.
The complainant had approached the ACB on October 12stating that Bhadane has been demanding money to grant NApermission for a piece of land in Kashi village in Thanetaluka.
According to Nishandar, the official accepted thebribe money through Ugale.
The offence is being registered and furtherinvestigation into the case is on. PTI CORRNP.
