Phagwara, Oct 22 (PTI) A 17-year-old boy today allegedlycommitted suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in hishouse in the Model Town area here, an official said.

Dimanshu Anand, a senior secondary student, was foundhanging from the fan when a family member went to his room,City Station House Officer (SHO) Bharat Masih Ladhar said.

No suicide note was found, the SHO said.

The body has been sent to a hospital for a postmortemexamination, he added. PTI COR CHS SNEABH.
