New Delhi, Jan 14 (PTI) A Bar Council of Indiadelegation led by its chairman Manan Kumar Mishra is meetingSupreme Court judges today to discuss the unprecedented crisisthat has hit the judiciary.
According to sources, the seven-member delegation hasalready met some of the judges of the top court and arescheduled to meet remaining judges including Chief Justice ofIndia Dipak Mishra during the course of the day.
The BCI had yesterday formed a seven member delegation tomeet and discuss with the apex court judges issues arising outof the press conference by the four senior-most judges of thetop court.
On January 12, four senior-most judges of the Supremecourt -- justices J Chelameswar, Ranjan Gogoi, M B Lokur andKurian Joseph -- had mounted a virtual revolt against the CJIat a press meet in Delhi on Friday raising litany of problemsincluding assignment of cases. PTI ABA MNL RKS PLBDV.
