Chennai: Stag Summer Cricket Camp to be held from April 17

Stag Cricket Club will be conducting the summer cricket coaching camp for boys in the 6-16 years age group at the SVS Sports Academy, Kalaivanar Nagar  main road from April 17 to May 18 (6 to 8.30 am).  Former Ranji player Maruti Rao will be in charge of the camp. For details contact 9381012553.

The Stag Academy of Badminton will be conducting the summer coaching camp at the newly constructed indoor badminton courts at ICF colony. The timings would be from 6 to 8.30  am (Mon to Sat). This stadium will have two courts with synthetic flooring imported from China. Former District player KV Thomas will be in charge of the camp. For details contact 9952025304.

JIT Basketball

Jeppiaar Institute of Technology is going to conduct the 4th All India Invitational Basketball tournament for men and women for the Jeppiaar Trophy at the college premises from May 26 to 31.

This prize-money tournament  has invited many top teams like ONGC, Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Punjab Police, KSEB, reigning champion IOB, Satyabama University apart from Chennai champions.

In the eves’ section Southern Railway, Chhattisgarh state team, Western railway, Central railway, KSEB are some of the top teams expected to participate.

Special prizes will be give to the player of the tournament and player of the match.
