Former South African international player Gregg Clark has been appointed the head of the junior national hockey team. The 42-year-old, who was part of South Africa’s bronze-winning squad of the Champions Challenge in 2003, has coached South Africa’s senior team and is now the head of Ranchi Rhinos, the HIL Franchise.
Clark has his job cut out, as he has to prepare the colts for the Junior World Cup later this year. “India has rich talent in hockey and the team has enormous potential ahead of the World Cup. Indian Hockey has a very bright future.” he said.
