Summer cricket coaching camp from April 15

TENVIC, the sports training company of former Indian skipper Anil Kumble and former table tennis player Vasanth Bharadwaj, will conduct  a summer cricket coaching camp in the city at Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Porur.

The camp is open to everyone who is aged above six years and it will be held from April 15 to May 31.

Sports Fest

Hindustan University’s School of Sports and Games will organise an inter-collegiate sports festival from March 28 to April 1 at the University Bay Range Campus for the following events — Inter-collegiate basketball and football tournament for the Dr KCG Verghese memorial trophy and 1st Hindustan T20 Cricket Championship (men).

The tournaments will be inaugurated by S Ramachandran, advisor of Hindustan University and Ashok Verghese, director of Hindustan University at 4 pm on March 28.

Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up. All the major colleges and universities in the State have confirmed their participation.
