BENGALURU: Bangalore teenager Arjun Maini will be competing in the Toyota Racing Series with Team M2 which is New Zealand’s fastest racing series.
The 17-year-old Arjun is set to begin his 2015 season after a highly successful 2014 which included a second overall in the BRDC Formula 4 championship in England.
Arjun rose to become the highest ranked Indian racing driver in the driver database system, will get an early start to his 2015 campaign when the series gets underway later this month.
Arjun continues to be supported by JK Tyres as well as Kirloskar.
“The Toyota Racing Series in New Zealand gives me a chance to hone my skills with the best European drivers as well as the locals who will be tough competition during what is traditionally a winter break in motorsports. Further, the cars used in the series will help me gain some valuable experience for the upcoming FIA F3 Euro Series season which starts in April,” said Arjun.
