MIRPUR: The second one-dayer between India and Bangladesh has been reduced to 41 overs-a-side game afterthe Indian innings was halted early by a long rain delay here today.
Put into bat, India were 14 for one in 5.2 overs when rain stopped play. Cheteshwar Pujara (3 not out) and Robin Uthappa (6 not out) were at the crease after Ajinkya Rahane was trapped lbw by Mashrafe Morataza for nought.
The mandatory powerplay will be eight overs long, and the batting powerplay will last four overs. One bowler can bowl nine overs, and four can bowl eight each.
India are leading the three-match series after the visitors won the first rain-truncated game by seven wickets.
