That N Srinivasan woke up to television cameras waiting outside his residence on Thursday morning was needless to say considering that it was judgement day.

A firm believer in almighty, Srinivasan went to a temple around 8.30am. When the media persons mobbed his car as it came out of his Boat Club residence, he was in no mood to answer any questions and said, “Don’t disturb me, I am going to pray.”

Once he came back, the shutters remained closed as more media men crowded the lane. The television crew  arrived with the OB vans, and the atmosphere became more and more busy with news anchors going live.

Whenever the gates opened, the photographers got their shutters ready and on one such occasion only found the security guard taking Srinivasan’s pet dogs for an afternoon walk! Though Srinivasan remained inside,  his close aides kept going out noteably among them was Kasi Viswanathan, the secretary of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association and part of the Chennai Super Kings team management.
