AICF not to bear players’ expense for WC

Riyaz Akbar Ali, Prashant More, Zaheer Pasha, K Sagayabharti have been selected to represent India at the 5th Carrom World Cup in Korea. The tournament will be held from August 24 to 28 in Chuncheon. Selected players are required to submit FC 2, four passport size photographs and bio data highlighting medal winning performances at national and international tournaments. The All India Carrom Federation (AICF) will not bear the expenses of the contingent and therefore players are asked to bear the fee of `1 lakh and remit through NEFT to the federation bank account.
