LONDON: Liverpool will play their first pre-season friendly at Anfield in four years when they face Torino on August 7, the English Premier League club announced Friday.
The match will be the Champions League finalists last warm-up game before their Premier League campaign kicks off at home to West Ham four days later.
Liverpool and Italian Serie A outfit Torino have never previously played against each other.
Borussia Dortmund, then managed by current Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, were the last visitors to Anfield for a pre-season game in 2014. Liverpool won that match 4-0.
