CHENNAI: KN Ramyashri took four for six to help Tamil Nadu bowl Jammu & Kashmir out for just 27 in a BCCI women’s U-19 Elite C Group one-day match in Margao. Tamil Nadu won by 10 wickets.
Brief scores: J&K 27 in 22.4 ovs (KN Ramyashri 4/6) lost to TN 28/0 in 3.5 ovs.

Nithish scalps eight
Nithish Shankar’s 8/19 helped Korattur CC beat Classic CC by nine wickets in a second division TNCA Thiruvallur DCA League match.
Brief scores: Classic CC 41 in 17 ovs (N Sha­nkar 8/19) lost to Korattur CC 43/1 in 5 ovs.

Karneshwaran shines
Riding on SG Karneshwaran’s 5/25, Thiruvallur DCA beat Madurai DCA by 64 runs in the semis of TNCA inter-district U-16 meet in Thiruvallur.

Brief scores: Thiruvallur 197 & 202/8 (S Sourav 68 n.o, SM Karthik Anand 49, V Simon Stanley 36, K Wafar 4/98) bt Madurai 247 & 88 (VP Amith Sathwik 46, SG Karneshwaran 5/25, Rishisilora 4/31).

Asan Memorial champions
Asan Memorial School, Egmore, beat Don Bosco MHSS 2-1 in the final of Fr Gatti Memorial inter-school U-10 football meet. Ahaan Kapoor of Sir Mutha School, Chetpet, was top scorer. Don Bosco’s Dinesh was adjudged best player.

Body building meet
The 12th Mr India senior men’s and women’s body building & 7th men’s sport physique and women’s model physique national championships will be held at the Col Jeppiaar Auditorium from March 29 to 31, organised by Tamil Nadu Amateur Body Building Association.
