Loud sex noises interrupt tennis match at Sarasota Open

There have been many instances when tennis matches were interrupted as a result of rain out-pour, players taking an injury time out or in worst cases even due to the absence of proper lighting. But an ATP Challenger Sarasota Open match played today between Frances Tiafoe and Mitchell Krueger was interrupted due to a strange reason.

Both the upcoming American tennis stars were battling out in the middle of the second set of a first round match in Florida. When Tiafoe was about to serve, he suddenly stopped for a brief period of time and gazed around the tennis court and burst out laughing, hearing loud moans coming from across the court. His opponent Krueger was in no mood to get distracted from the match and vented out his frustration by hitting a tennis ball towards the area where the noise was assumed to have been coming from.

Commentator Mike Cation initially thought that the noise was coming from a phone of one of the fans. Cation on the Challenger Tour live stream said, "Well, that is the most bizarre situation. I don’t know how to put this, folks, but somebody’s phone is going off in the stands and it is an adult video."

For a brief period of time the moans stopped but it grew louder making Cation realise that the noise was not from a phone but from an apartment across the lake. He said, "No, that's not a phone, that's an apartment across the lake. Oh my God.”

As the noise grew louder, 19-year-old Tiafoe realised that he had enough of drama and exclaimed, "It can't be that good!"

Though the distraction disrupted the flow of the match it brought a lot of mirth amongst the audience. And embarrassment too; one of the mothers was caught on camera instructing her son to cover his ears after the noise grew louder.

After the intermission, Tiafoe went on to win the match in straight sets, defeating fellow American Krueger 6-3, 6-2.
