Wimbledon loses its stiff upper lip; man invited to play in Kim Clijsters' skirt juices things up

Here's a quirky story about a man from the audience joined in to play!

Talk about Wimbledon's strict dress codes for players and a man in a skirt, and on court at that, is the last thing one would have expected to see at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. But that's exactly what happened on Friday, bringing much mirth to the otherwise stiff upper-lipped crowd.

During an impromptu interaction in the doubles match between Conchita Martinez-Andrea Jaeger and Rennae Stubbs-Kim Clijsters, a man suggested that Clijsters go for a body serve.

In response, Clijsters said, "You said body? Why don't you go there?" inviting the man on to the court. Martinez handed the man her racquet, while Clijsters helped him into a spare skirt of hers so that he could pose as 'appropriate' for the court. The court was absolutely amused as the man dressed in the skirt managed to face a serve from Clijsters and then went on to pose with the players.

The man's name is Chris Quinn and he later tweeted out about the incident.
