The High Court on Friday reserved its orders on a batch of writ petitions seeking protection of lands belonging to Gurukul Ghatkesar Trust located near Hitec City here.

P Chandrasena Reddy, an advocate, said the trust moved the court for protection of the land whereas some others approached it for a direction to the government to regularise layouts and buildings situated on the trust’s land.

According to Chandrasena Reddy, the land belonged to one Badrinath who had gifted it to the trust in 1951. The trust holds about 627 acres at Izzatnagar and Khanamet villages in Serilingampally mandal.
