ACB issues notice to MLA Sriramulu

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has reportedly issued notice to Karnataka former minister and MLA B Sriramulu for appearing before them for inquiry in three days in connection with Gali Janardhan Reddy cash-for-bail case.

According to sources, Sriramulu’s name surfaced during questioning of Kampli MLA T H Suresh Babu , when he told the ACB that it was on the direction of Sriramulu that he approached realtor Ravi Suryaprakash Babu  for Gali Janardhan Reddy bail issue.

However, the ACB Director General B Prasada Rao said that they have not issued any notice Sriramulu, but it is under examination.

Meanwhile, the ACB court has extended remand of suspended CBI Judge T Pattabhirama Rao , retired judge T V Chalapathi Rao and history-sheeter P Yadgiri Rao till 17 August.

The ACB court also extended remand of suspended judges K Lakshiminarasimha Rao, Dr D Prabhakar Rao and Ravi Suryaprakash Babu  till August 14.
