While replying to a question at a news conference here on Saturday, Naidu observed that Anna Hazare had weakened the anti-corruption movement all over the country. He felt the civil society representatives and social reformists should play their role as a pressure group that would force the government to take positive decisions and eradicate corruption.

After the 2G spectrum and Common Wealth Games scams, people of the country felt the need to root out corruption. The common man came out on the streets voluntarily and supported the Anna Hazare movement.
