Top Maoist held in Odisha?

CPI (Maoist) Machkhand area divisional committee member Suryam is learnt to have been picked up by the police in Odisha’s Malkangiri district.

Sources said Suryam played a crucial role in planning “actions” across Andhra-Odisha Border (AOB). After detaining him, the police took him to an undisclosed destination in Andhra Pradesh.

When contacted, Revolutionary Writers Association leader Vara Vara Rao demanded that Suryam be produced in a court of law immediately.
