In a shocking incident, a husband brutally murdered his wife, suspecting her of infidelity in GM Gollapalli of Sadum mandal in the district on Sunday.
Sadum SI, N Siva Kumar Reddy said the husband G Vijaya Kumar(30) attacked his wife Kalpana(25) with a big knife, while she was washing clothes at a pond near their house, in the afternoon. He repeatedly stabbed her with the knife her head and other parts of the body, resulting in her dying instantaneously. After he had murdered his wife, he ran away.
Sources said the couple had married eight years back and were living peacefully, till Vijaya Kumar started suspecting his wife, resulting in the husband and wife often quarrelling.
