The special court for CBI cases on Thursday allowed Karnataka former minister Gali Janardhan Reddy, arrested in the Obulapuram mining case, to have possession of some of the vehicles seized by the CBI as part of the investigation into the case.
Janardhan Reddy had filed a petition seeking that the vehicles including BMW and Rolls Royce and a helicopter be handed over to him.
The court ordered handing over five cars to Reddy’s authorised agent, P.Uday Kumar Reddy and asked the petitioner to deposit Rs 74.53 lakh in the court.
