Telangana Rashtra Samiti leader and Sircilla legislator KT Rama Rao has expressed hope that Telangana will become a reality before the 2014 general election.
“I do not want to approach elections with Telangana as the agenda,” he told a gathering of public prosecutors here on Sunday.
He said it was unfortunate that a raw deal was being meted out to the Telangana region in all aspects.
For instance, of the 316 public prosecutors, only 123 were Telangana advocates, he said and added that he would have the issue raised in the Assembly.
The TRS leader said that both the Congress and the UPA would have come to terms with the reality that there was no alternative to forming Telangana state.
Telangana people had no longer any faith in the Congress and were ready to “prosecute” it in the elections, he claimed.
Saying that the Kiran Kumar Reddy government was in a crisis, he said, “There is no power supply. People are being advised to open the windows of their house to let air come in.
No wonder if the government will unveil “Indiramma hand-held fan scheme.” TJAC chairman M.
Kodandaram appealed to all sections of Telangana people to make the Telangana March on September 30 a success. Former MP B Vinod also spoke.
