Protests by student groups continued at the office of the EAMCET camp officer for the fourth day of certificate verification for the engineering stream.

Student associations demanded that the percentage of management quota seats be fixed after taking into account the reserved-category seats out of the total strength in a college, rather than reserving seats within the convener quota.

Of the 15,000 students called for verification on Thursday, 10,701 attended the process.

Till date, 41,880 students have attended the certificate verification process out of the 60,000 scheduled.

The EAMCET admissions convener has issued a revised schedule for the exercise of web-options which begins on August 31.
