CM vows to give 1,000 jobs a day

In an endeavour to achieve the target of providing 15 lakh jobs to youths, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday directed the officials to give 1,000 jobs per day under the Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu scheme.
At a review meet on the Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu scheme, the chief minister said, “It is the most important programme of the government and we have to achieve the target of providing 1,000 jobs to youths per day”.
The chief minister held a two-hour review meeting on the scheme’s performances, issues and tasks ahead with ministers and officials of the Rajiv Education and Employment Mission in Andhra Pradesh (REEMAP).
He said that in Hyderabad, there were over 6,000 vacancies of constables, RTC drivers and conductors.
