Ramya, daughter of Tadepalligudem MLA Eeli Nani, and her husband Sandeep filed a petition in the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) urging it to initiate steps to provide security for them.
Ramya and Sandeep came to the DLSA office here on Wednesday and exchanged garlands in the presence of reporters and lawyers who declared them married once again. The couple were brought to the DLSA by the police.
Ramya said she had married Sandeep four years ago and wanted to live with him.
Sandeep said he had no intention of hurting the sentiments of the family of MLA Eeni Nani and appealed to them not to harm either him or his family members.
Both left in a car after exchanging the garlands. The couple announced that they wanted to live in Guntur.
Sandeep is a native of Yadlapadu mandal, Guntur district and his family settled in Bhimavaram years ago.
Sandeep fell in love with Ramya while studying engineering in Bhimavaram and they married four years ago.
