The agitation for Samaikyandhra taken up by political parties and other organisations continued in the temple town as well as in other parts of Chittoor district for the 25th day here on Saturday.
The relay hunger protests being taken up by SVU students, SAPS, MSOs and cable operators, YSRC functionaries, TTD workers and advocates in various parts of Tirupati continue.
Congress party leader Mabbu Chenga Reddy, who is playing an active role in the movement since the beginning, took out a bike rally in the town along with his followers and extended solidarity to the protesters by visiting all the relay hunger protest venues in the town.
Speaking on the occasion, he found fault with Central ministers and other people representatives from Seemandhra region still sticking to their posts without joining the movement.
If they are sincere to the cause of united state, they should tender their resignations, he demanded.

Meanwhile, with the private bus operators stopping their services to Hyderabad, Vizag, Vijayawada, Bangalore and other distant places from Saturday in support of the ongoing agitation, the pilgrims as well as the general passengers, who are already facing transportation troubles with the RTC employees going on indefinite strike, have no option left except commuting in trains.
