2014 Polls Crucial: Lokesh

TDP’s youth leader Nara Lokesh, who is out to woo youth and educated sections in urban areas, described the 2014 elections as the most crucial for the TDP and also for the people of Andhra Pradesh.

Lokesh, who was in the temple town on Wednesday to attend a wedding, said the Congress, which cannot even secure deposits on its own strength, is now sailing with Donga Putrudu (looting son) and a Datta Putrudu (adopted son) in the state. The responsibility of making the people aware about the dangerous sons lies on the TDP functionaries, especially the youth cadre, he said.

In his address to the activists of TNSF, TSNV and Telugu Yuvatha, Lokesh trained his guns on YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy by dubbing him as Donga Putrudu repeatedly. After looting huge public money during the regime of his father, the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, between 2004-09, he spent 16 months in jail. Though, he came out of the jail as of now, he will meet similar fate of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Lokesh said.

At a time when the state is suffering from dearth of funds, the then chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, took the state on the path of development. But, after the Congress party coming to power in 2004, it ignored development and took up works like Fab City, Lepakshi and others to fill the kit bags of the ruling party representatives, he said.
