The mystery behind the murder of Bandi Christopher Premadas, a pastor, was unravelled.

Disclosing this to newsmen here on Sunday, DSP D Sunita Reddy said Bandi Susanna Supriya alias Pinky, daughter of Premadas, was arrested on a charge of murdering her father.

Giving the case details, the DSP said Premadas was found murdered at his house on SP office road on January 18. Pinky who was living with her father after deserting her third husband, was addicted to vices. Pinky returned home along with her boyfriend Vijay after watching a movie on January 18. When Premadas objected to it, she got angry and smothered her father to death using a pillow.

Later, she tied the hands and legs of Premadas with her chunni and a lungi and sprinkled chilli powder on the floor to project the murder as a suspicious death.

During investigation, it was revealed that Premadas counselled his daughter several times to shun the bad path.

She also objected to the will written by Premadas giving a share to his three children in property.

She quarrelled with her father several times demanding that the house be transferred in her name.
