Telangana activists will lay siege to the houses of ministers from Feb 16 to 21, Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman M Kodandaram has said.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, he said a Sadak Bandh between Hyderabad and Alampur on the Bangalore highway would be organised on Feb 24 and appealed to people in Telanagna region turn up and make it a success.

He said Congress leaders in the region were looking for personal gains forgetting the fact that it was because of the people that they were enjoying positions. He said the Congress’ central leadership too was paying interest to what leaders from Seemandhra were saying because they happened to belong to affluent sections. He said Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was concerned more about the number of votes and seats his party would win in the next elections rather than paying attention to what people were expecting from him.
