Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC SHAR), Sriharikota, director Dr. MYS Prasad has been selected for Dr. Y Nayudamma Memorial Award for 2013 for his outstanding contributions to the field of space science.
That award will be presented to Prasad at a function shceduled to be held in this town in March last week, a press release by Nayudamma Centre for Development Alternatives director Jagadeesh said on Monday. Prasad will also deliver the 18th Dr. Y Nayudamma Memorial Lecture at the function.The dignitaries who had received the award earlier include ISRO ex-chairman K Kasturi Rangan.
