Avaladasu Durga Prasad (38), who was in the fray as an independent candidate for the East and West Godavari District Graduates Constituency MLC election, died under suspicious circumstances at his residence on Monday night.
Police said Durga Prasad returned home at Fatebad after completing his electioneering last night. His family members found him dead Tuesday morning. The reason for his sudden death is not known. Prasad’s wife is the mandal development officer of Polavaram.
