TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu will undertake a ‘bus yatra’ to crisscross the six districts across the state which he could not cover during his just-concluded padayatra. Those six districts are Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Prakasam, Nellore, Kadapa and Chittoor. Naidu had a meeting with some of his party seniors at his residence here on Friday. Soon after the meeting, party senior leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, who took part in the meeting, told reporters that Naidu would soon undertake a bus yatra to cover the six districts which he could not tour during his walkathon. According to party sources, the yatra is likely to begin in June. Meanwhile, Chandramohan Reddy said TDP’s biennial fete, Mahanadu, will be held on May 27 and 28 in Hyderabad in a big way. At least 10,000 delegates from various districts across the state would take part in the celebration, he added.
