Jana to fight for Telangana state, but not quit Congress

Panchayat raj minister K Jana Reddy, a votary of a separate Telangana, on Monday said that he would continue to mount pressure on the Congress high command for creation of Telangana but not quit the party come what may. His assertion came while addressing party workers at Haliya. Referring to the TRS, which is fighting for the creation of a Telangana state, he asked how it could achieve the goal if it secured just 50 to 60 seats in the 2014 Assembly elections. He flayed the YSR Congress party for cheating the public through its misleading name. While YSRC meant Yuvajana Shramika Raithu Congress, its leaders had changed it as YS Rajashekar Reddy Congress. He refuted the YSRC leaders’ allegations that the Congress government was not implementing YSR’s schemes. Kiran Reddy government released `3,500 cr for fee reimbursement as against `500 cr by YSR  government, he said.
