Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Nara Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his concern at the fall in the value of Rupee and attributed it to the failure of the inefficient economic policies of the Union government.

The TDP supremo continued his ‘Atma Gourava Yatra’ on the fourth day Wednesday in Guntur district and targeted the UPA government and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Contrary to the speeches he made on the first three days, he exposed the failures of the Union government on the fourth day.

Addressing the villagers of  Abbarajupalem in Tullur mandal, he said the prime minister was a puppet in the hands of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

He said the prime minister had failed to check corruption in the country. Naidu said `120 crore people of India were suffering due to the inefficient administration of the UPA government.

Stating that Italy was the mafia hub of Europe, he said Sonia Gandhi hailed from that country.

He said the Congress Party would suffer a humiliating defeat in the next elections.

Naidu resumed his yatra at Krosuru and toured Velpuru, Atchampeta, Chigurupadu, Kongativaripalem, Rudravaram, Bayyavaram, Munugodu and at Jupudi where he will retire for the day.

Hundreds of TDP supporters and party cadre welcomed Naidu during his yatra on the fourth day.

Naidu said TDP had proved its strength in the panchayat elections held two months ago and had greatly enthused the voters.

He said late NT Rama Rao, the founder of TDP, had provided an efficient and clean government in Andhra Pradesh.
