MIM Announces Nine More Assembly Candidates, 1 LS

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) on Tuesday announced the names of nine candidates for the Assembly and one Lok Sabha seat.

Party chief Asaduddin Owaisi released the list of candidates at the party headquarters. Syed Rahmath will be party candidate from Patancheru, Naveen Yadav for Jubilee Hills, Naliganti Sarath for Amberpet, James Silverster for Secunderabad, Meer Majid Alifor Nizamabad Urban, Shaik Ahmed for Maheshwaram, Mohammed Ghouseuddin for Qutubullapur, Motilal Naikfor Bhongir and Moghul Kareemullah Baig for Markapuram, Prakasam sistrict. Narla Mohan Rao will be party candidate for Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency.

MIM has so far announced candidates for 29 Assembly and four Lok Sabha constituencies.

It has seven members in the outgoing Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The MIM has so far been confined to Hyderabad though it has, of late, started making efforts to expand its footprint to Seemandhra and states like Maharashtra as well.
