Days after Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar said he would shoot down chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s helicopter if he comes to Karimnagar, Telangana Jagruthi chairperson Kavita on Tuesday spewed venom at Kiran Kumar Reddy saying the women of Telangana will throw bombs and not balls at the chief minister, who often compares the Telangana fight with a cricket match.
Addressing the gathering at Sampoorna Telangana Sadhana Deeksha, organised by the TJAC at Indira Park here, she said there will be no compromise on Sampoorna Telangana.
Dismissing resignation of minister D Sridhar Babu as a drama, she sough to know where he was when every Telangana leader had resigned in protest against the adamant attitude of the Central government and when Telangana youth were sacrificing their lives.
Speaking on the occasion, TJAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram demanded that the state government send back the draft bill to the Central government if it has no intentions of discussing it in the Assembly.
“If you are not interested, send back the bill. We will meet other political parties and see to it that the bill is discussed properly in Parliament and necessary amendments are made before it is passed,” he said.
