New Annadanam Scheme From Today

Ratnagiri (Annavaram): Here is a piece of good news to the devotees visiting the sacred shrine at Ratnagiri, the abode of Lord Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy.

The anna prasadam facility will be extended to 5,000 devotees daily from Wednesday here. As per the directions of Endowments minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao, the temple management had made arrangements to launch the extended annadanam scheme in the new complex. Endowments additional commissioner T Chandra Kumar supervised the arrangements on the hills Tuesday.

Kumar directed the executive officer to take necessary measures for the hassle-free implementation of the scheme. There should be no lapses, he warned.

On Wednesday, deputy chief minister Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa, Finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Endowments commissioner Anuradha, collector Neethu Prasad and other officials will participate in the programme.
